What is the process of pet euthanasia at home?
Our veterinary team arrives at your home
A veterinarian and a veterinary nurse will arrive at your home at your appointment time. Our veterinary team will go through the euthanasia process with you and discuss any concerns you may have.
A gentle administration of sedative.
Our veterinarian will give your pet a gentle injection of sedation. This helps your pet to be comfortable and feel relaxed for this final moment.
A peaceful passing
When you are ready, our veterinarian will give the euthanasia injection. You can continue to cuddle your pet during this time.
Cremation & Aftercare
If you have chosen a cremation package, our veterinary team will transport your pet back to our Boondall clinic. We will then arrange your choice of cremation and have your pet's ashes delivered back to you.
